The Aerial Imaging and Remote Sensing (AIRS) Laboratory is dedicated to the advancement of environmental sciences through the application of state-of-the-art computer vision techniques. We work with scientists, educators and public interest professionals with a common need for reliable, highly automated methods for integrating aerial images and other remote sensing data in their research, education and decision making processes. We are concerned with all aspects of remote sensing from sensor design and data collection to mapping and information extraction.
