I am a computer science Ph.D student at UMass Amherst. I completed my bachelors in September 2005 and my masters in September 2008, also from UMass, both in computer science. Before that, I spent a very long time in the United Arab Emirates, completing 1st to 12th grade at the International School of Choueifat, Al-Ain. I am originally from Alexandria, Egypt and was born in Dortmund, Germany in 1985.
