During Spring 2006 I taught three lectures in the Computer Vision class. I covered Support Vector Machines, Principal Components Analysis, Independent Components Analysis, and applications of these tools to real vision problems such as plankton classification and face detection/recognition. This page hosts my lecture notes, homework assignments and other various useful pointers. The course was taught by Professor Allen Hanson and the course website can be found here.

Lecture 1: Support Vector Machines and Plankton Classification (April 25, 2006)
Lecture 2: Principal Components Analysis (May 11, 2006)
Lecture 3: Eigenfaces and Independent Components Analysis (May 16, 2006)

BEST OF LUCK TO ALL GRADUATING SENIORS!!!!!!
